Golden State Warriors vs New Orleans Pelicans – Game 3

NBA: 8.00 PM EST

May 04, 2018

The Golden State Warriors were triumphant in Steph Curry’s return to the playoffs in Game 2 against a feisty Pelicans team, in a close 121-116 win. The series will shift to New Orleans as the defending champs will look to take a commanding 3-0 series lead and move a step away from the Western Conference Finals.

Despite the high scoring numbers and the success of Steph Curry, the Dubs didn’t really shoot the ball particularly well, finishing 13-40 from beyond the arc in a game that was incredibly fast-paced, moreso than an offensive showcase.

Klay Thompson finished a dismal 4-20 shooting in Game 2, and Curry rallied just 27 minutes, yet Golden State was still able to take the Pels’ best punch and come away with a win. Despite the change of venue, it’s too difficult to not back a tremendously more talented team, especially with the former MVP Curry rounding into playoff form.
