Golden State Warriors vs San Antonio Spurs

NBA: 10.30 PM EST

April 24, 2018

The San Antonio Spurs stayed alive in the 2018 postseason in a 103-90 win against the defending champion Warriors in Game 4 of their first-round series.

The Spurs played their second straight game in the absence of Gregg Popovich, who left the team after the tragic passing of his wife, Erin. As perhaps both a tribute to their grieving coach and an inspired performance in what could have been Manu Ginobili’s final home game, the Spurs played their basketball of the series by far en route to their 13-point win.

The Warriors played incredibly uncharacteristically on the offensive end, finishing just 37% from the field and a miserable 25% from distance. Their 90 points were easily their lowest of the postseason thus far.

In the past 2 playoffs, Golden State has lost five times in road games that were to be followed by a home game. In those five games at Oracle Arena following a road loss, the Warriors are averaging 118ppg. I like them to explode at home and advance to the second round easily.
