Minnesota Twins vs Seattle Mariners

MLB: 04.10 PM EST

May 27, 2018

The Seattle Mariners will play host to the Minnesota Twins on late Sunday afternoon in the series finale between the two teams at Safeco Field. Seattle will be looking to complete the sweep after a pair of one-run victories over Minnesota on Friday and Saturday.

The rubber match will feature RHP Mike Leake (4-3, 5.46 ERA) for the M’s against RHP Jose Berrios (5-4, 3.82 ERA) for the Twins. Both pitchers have seen the opposing team just a couple times in their respective careers, and both have struggled somewhat, with ERA’s hovering near 5.

Seattle is posted as the underdog in Vegas, despite having a very solid home record (14-10) and a far better mark overall this season; Seattle is 31-20, while Minnesota is just 21-26. My favorite indicator for this game is that the Mariners are a sparkling 20-8 overall as an underdog this year, and I like to ride that trend and back the M’s to capture the series sweep.
