OKC Thunder vs Utah Jazz – Game 6

NBA: 10.30 PM EST

April 27, 2018

The Utah Jazz appeared to have their first-round series well in hand as they led by as many as 25 points in the 3rd quarter of Game 5 against OKC, but the Thunder roared back and completed one of the most improbable comebacks in playoff history to send the series back to Salt Lake City.

Friday’s Game 6 will be played in front of a Utah crowd that has seen their team go 2-0 thus far in the playoffs. Oklahoma City was a very mediocre road team during the regular season (just 21-20 away from home), and that track record has shown up thus far in the playoffs. The Thunder were carried almost exclusively by Russell Westbrook and Paul George, who at one point scored 40 consecutive OKC points, keying them to their massive run late in Game 5.

Utah will be anxious to avenge a crushing loss in Game 5 when they seemed to be destined for the second round, and their best opportunity to do so will be Friday night in their own building. I’m looking for the Jazz to look to neutralize the OKC stars, and finish the series off in style.
